It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

Growing through Grief groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. How individuals and families cope with dying, death, grief, loss, and bereavement is as unique as a fingerprint. How you cope with other life events and adapts to your present and future is also part of the grieving process.

Growing through Grief offers you the opportunity to tell your story, the story of your loved one in a safe and welcoming space. We look forward to spending this time with you.

Group leadership provided by Rev. Dr. Joy Samuels. Rev. Dr. Joy Samuels is an ordained minister (Disciples of Christ) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (Mental Health Service Provider) specializing in faith based communities consulting and maintains a private practice in Franklin.
