Meet the Pastor

God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve as Glendale’s pastor since June 2000. I arrived just prior to graduation from Vanderbilt Divinity School. Transition could well define my years to date at Glendale as my life and the ministry of Glendale continues to grow and change.

My husband Alan and I reared our family in South Nashville and were active members of Calvary UMC. While actively involved in the life of the church, I felt called to a deeper walk of faith. This call led me to intentional prayer and spiritual formation ministries including a year of study at Stillpoint School for Contemplative Prayer and Spiritual Formation. Divinity School followed. During my academic studies, I was placed in a church as part of field education class. It was during this time I realized I was called to serve in a local church.

Glendale UMC is a vital spiritual community. Through this neighborhood church, God is healing wounded souls, transforming lives, inspiring compassion, and renewing hope.
